Mission: God has called Faith Lutheran Church to invite all people to grow in the community of Jesus Christ. Vision: To be the heart through which God empowers Christian life in our community. Faith Lutheran of Flower Mound is in the process of redefining the Mission statements. We have created the following purpose and principle statements that will guide our ministries into the future. Please review and give feedback to the Purpose and Principle team. In the upcoming months, the congregation will ask to approve the principles and purpose statements. Our Purpose Faith Lutheran Church is called by God to gather in Christ and is sent by the Holy Spirit to serve. Our Guiding Principles - We are saved by grace through faith.
- We acknowledge that all things are from God.
- We pass our faith on to others through our ministry.
- We invite, welcome and accept everyone.
- We center our actions and decisions in God's Word and through prayer.
- We strengthen our discipleship by deepening our faith and knowledge of God's Word.
- We seek forgiveness and understanding in our relationships with God and each other.
- We take risks because we trust God can do things that we cannot.
- We demonstrate Christ's love through our daily actions.
- We willingly share our God-given time, talents and treasures.
The Great Commission Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
