History
In the Fall of 1982, 30 families met in their homes and decided to form a new ALC (now ELCA) Lutheran church in southern Denton county. Since this time, Faith has grown to a membership of over 500 families.

Currently Faith has several ongoing efforts to better serve its members. In 2003 a consultant group was hired to take a deep look at the structure, programs, member satisfaction, community and goals of Faith to come up with recommendations for improvement.
From the results Key Research Findings were formulated into a Vision, Strategy and Area of Focus. Numerous initiatives were formed to represent our tactical expressions of strategy (i.e. hospitality, communications, worship...). Each initiative was given the challenge of looking for ways to improve and to identify any resources needed to implement their suggestions.
Faith has a history of being blessed with talented members willing to devote their time and leadership abilities to the building of Faith, to the enhancement of our worship, and in the love and care for each other and all children.
